The purpose of this web site is to provide readers with information regarding the technical issues believed by the Sediment Management Work Group (SMWG) to be significant in the development of effective strategies for management of contaminated sediments. The materials included in this web site have been prepared by authors commissioned by the SMWG or by the SMWG itself. As such, this web site reflects the collective opinions of the authors and the SMWG, and as such should not necessarily be construed in every instance to represent the opinions of the individual members of the SMWG.
